Letters
The quickest way for you to make a difference is to write a letter. If
enough people send a letter to those who can make a difference then Amnesty
will succeed in its goals.

What a letter can do
 Amnesty
International Newport responded to the poster and wrote
to the former Newport West MP Alan Howarth drawing attention to their
concerns about the Middle East situation.
Not only did Mr Howarth respond but he passed on the concerns to the Foreign
Secretary. The Rt Hon Mike O'Brien MP - Minister responsible for relations
with the Middle East - responded to Alan Howarth.
In a two page letter Mike O'Brien discussed the issues that had been
raised. He demonstrated that he had given time and thought to a process
started by one letter sent by a member of AI Newport Group:

Sample letters
